Footage of a collision tells you what everyone already knows. What changes anything is the warning that fires while there is still room to stop — and the record of whether the driver used it.
One event, second by second
Scrub it. This is the reasoning behind the clip, not the clip — we are not going to invent footage to sell you a camera.
Reconstruction · not footage
Logged as a tailgating event in its own right, alert or not.
No contact. Driver braked 1.4 s after the alert. Every one of these events arrives with 12 seconds before the trigger and 8 after, from both cameras, already attached — nobody goes looking through a day of recording for it.
What it watches for
Detection runs on the unit, not in a data centre. A warning that depends on a round trip over LTE is not a warning.
Every one of these is tuned to under-trigger. A camera that shouts at a driver for taking a roundabout briskly gets ignored within a week, and then it is not a safety system — it is a light on the dashboard that everyone has learned to look past.

"Just upload everything" is not an option
Two cameras at 2 Mbps across a 10-hour shift is 17.6 GB per vehicle per day. On a 400-vehicle fleet that is 6.9 terabytes a day, over cellular, in a country the size of this one.
So the unit records everything locally and uploads 0.44% of it — the clips around real events. The rest stays on the card, retrievable on request for as long as it is still there.

The other half of the value is the claim
Most fleets buy cameras to change driving. What pays for them in year one is usually the disputes.

- Road-facing settles the sequence; cabin-facing settles whether the driver was doing anything they should not.

- Speed, braking and steering at the moment of impact, from the unit rather than reconstructed afterwards.

The camera pointed at the driver
This is the part of the sale that goes quiet, so here it is in the open. A cabin camera is the most intrusive thing we sell, and how it is governed matters more than what it detects.
Security and data handlingIs the cabin camera always recording the driver?
It records continuously to the unit, like the road-facing one. What leaves the vehicle is the clip around an event. Nobody at Saqr and nobody in your office can open a live cabin feed on a whim — there is no button for it, because we did not build one.
Can a manager pull footage of a driver at random?
Retrieval is tied to an event or an explicit request, and every retrieval is logged with who asked and why. Drivers can be shown that log. A system drivers believe is fair gets used; one they think is surveillance gets unplugged.
What do drivers see?
Their own events and their own score in the app, before anyone else discusses them. Being told about your driving by a screen is uncomfortable; being told about it in a meeting three weeks later is worse.
